June 10, 2019 - Drink up. Still a wonderful experience but in decline. Honey coloured in the glass. Dense scents of apricots, very ripe pear, and an edge of petrol in the nose. Serenely balanced on the tongue even at this age, making me wish I had had this 5 years ago.

October 13, 2018 - Honeyed with a marmalade sweetness on entry and dry finish. An interesting exercise in drinking aged riesling but it took a lot of work and would have been hard to enjoy a second glass.

September 15, 2018 - Fairly dark amber. Sauternes? Very spicy bothrytis driven nose, dried apricots, stone fruits and caramelized pears.Rich dried apricot and peach flavours with a hint of orange peel. Sweet entry but dry finish.

March 14, 2017 - Wonderful stuff. Great structure and substance with purity of flavor. Had next to the 01 which was completely overshadowed by this. Almost hard to believe they were the same wine. This one matches beautifully with food.
