December 3, 2011 - WSET III, part 2; 12/3/2011-12/4/2011 (Portland, ME): Clean, pronounced nose of petrol, wax, lemon, and peach; developing. Off-dry with medium acids. Medium-plus intensity palate of lemon-lime and peach. Medium-plus length. Good. Drink now, though can develop.

August 16, 2010 - Had a bottle around the pool and it was disappointing to say the least. Agree with others this is not a typical Penfold's wine - they need to take this back to the drawing board. There are two many good Rieslings out there at the same price point.

February 26, 2010 - Color OK, Looks like a yellow spot in the snow. No fruit, mineral or finish.

November 1, 2009 - Very pretty in the glass. And that's about it. Wow, this stuff was bad. Actually poured most of it out. Odor of cat urine. Tasted of pure aluminum/metallic hell. Extremely disappointed as I am a big Penfolds fan.

November 1, 2009 - 50+5+13+15+6 Pineapple, meyer lemon, and peach on nose. Mango, loads of lemon on palate, and some cucumber on finish. On the dry side.
