December 19, 2014 - Wonderful well aged Bordeaux blend, wish I had a case left. Black cherry and plumb on the nose, with ripe flavors of blackberry, currant, and clove. Hints of anise and a well integrated backbone on tanins that bring it all together. The finish builds with smokey notes that go on. Truly great wine.

December 4, 2012 - Black cherry and plum on the nose. Hints of cedar with firm tannins. Backbone suggests many more years of potential.

February 24, 2011 - Great balance, bright, rich, and excellent. Held up well on night two, as well.

April 26, 2009 - Very tasty blend of Merlot and Cab Franc. Not at all like a bordeaux. Chery and floral mid palate with a soft finish. Yum!

October 29, 2008 - Gibby's monthly tasting (Gibby's Wine Den, Geneva, IL): A garnet colored blend of Merlot (60%), Cab Franc (30%) and Syrah (10%). Aromas of sage, olive and dark fruit. Flavors of blackberry, blackk currants and spicy oak.
