    January 25, 2024 - Best of 2024; 1/1/2024-12/31/2024: Tasted blind

Nose: plenty of old world, burgundy rusticness. But had more bright, dense fruit if you focused (I missed it at first)

    This was fantastic.

High alcohol for PN, close to 15% as I recall

October 19, 2016 - Drank my last bottle of this wine and it did not disappoint. Color started to fade with hints of dried cherries, baking spices with a slight medicinal edge. Nicely balanced and enjoyed this with Duck breast and leg in a cherry sauce. Perfect match. If you like your Pinots with some age, I'd give this even a few more years to play out.

July 6, 2015 - Bright cherry red. Nose is pure eau de vie de framboise - not raspberry fruit, but high test alcohol. I have never been a fan of this vintage at KB and this one follows suit. Too alcoholic. My favorite KB single vineyard, but not tonight. (84)

June 14, 2015 - Crimson in color. 14.9% ABV. Gorgeous nose of dark fruits, brown sugar and cloves. Wonderful fruit held in balance by the right amount of acidity. Nice grip on the palate. Flavors of black cherry, baking spices and sarsaparilla. The finish is long and toasty. Really nice showing from a vintage that many proclaimed would not bode well for Kosta Browne over the long term. Drink over the next year or two.

April 12, 2015 - Color is medium red with strawberries and cola on the palate. Nose of earth and red licorice. A bit past its prime with some oxidation.
