October 14, 2023 - Super solid Syrah - punches right at and above its weight class compared to the competitors. Pretty solid QPR here - worth seeking out and worth buying a case. The Proper Syrahs def benefit from 3-7 years of bottle age.

July 26, 2023 - Taste was affected a bit by illness, but I could definitely tell this was an outstanding bottle of Rocks Syrah. Blackberry and plum fruit, savory umami flavors, sweet tobacco and dark chocolate, hints of barrel and vanilla. This should evolve nicely. Drink now - 2035.

October 23, 2022 - Received the 2020 shipment this week. Opened a bottle and let it open for a hour. I really enjoyed the wine, great black and blue fruit accented with iron and coffee. The wine though young will evolve into a really good bottle of Syrah from the rocks. Highly recommended.
