April 23, 2024 - Smells a touch like wet, burnt syrah and grenache. And a bit of freshness on the palate, and also a bit of huskies, and then a bit earthy. If you needed to check the Turkish mark, why not this one?

July 28, 2023 - Light color. A little bit chewy. Good red fruits. Lower acidity but nice structure. Solid.

May 28, 2023 - Dinner at Hamdi (Ballard, WA): Just labeled as Karasakız, so they may not be blending Merlot as in past vintages or just a very tiny amount. Very light in color, looks like a Pinot. However the palate is nothing like that, much less acidity, lots of warmer red fruit, ripe strawberry.

December 4, 2022 - Karasakız grapes coming from 35 year-old vines. Fermented with indigenous yeasts.
Mid-crimson in colour showing cranberry and red cherry aromas. Light yet rich and focused with a mouth-watering, fruity finish.
