December 29, 2023 - At 3 years this is still primary, but with an excellent earthy counter note that hits after the initial fruit impression. Good body and some length to the finish. Served admirably with a platter of cheeses and dried meats.

December 13, 2023 - Continues to deliver amazing QPR IMO.
Opened with a short decant of around 30 minutes served at about 18c. Very pleasant nose of dark red fruits with a reasonable length. In the mouth delivered the same fruits with a hint of tar and subtle tannin. Round and full but not heavy. Short to medium length but for a standard Cairanne bottling at he price very impressive to accompany simple fayre. -

August 10, 2023 - First of the 12 I purchased last year on a roadtrip through the Southern Rhone. Hard to believe that this so beautifully balanced with all the flavours you would expect from a good vintage. The round & ripeness of the core has nothing overdone. A perfectly refreshing wine either for food or just to enjoy. Not overblown with ‘hints’ of tar appearing in the background if you concentrate. KUDOS to Domaine Brusset amazing QPR. A simple Cairanne village wine that delivers. Refreshing not heavy

October 25, 2022 - Amazing everyday Cotes du Rhone village. For the price it really delivers an everyday day wine of value. Soft round with enough acidity to be fresh and drinkable. Not for laying down but good for another 2 or 3 years. Dark fruits and medium bodied with no great length .
