February 13, 2024 - Fantastic surprise. Wasn't expecting much at this price point in France but....
Soft with hints of pear adding a nice balance to light citrus. My wife got a hint of vanilla as well.

February 12, 2024 - A light and airy wine yet retaining good concentration of just ripe Anjou pears with a spritz of lemon and a touch of reduction. Medium-light body and fresh with good acidity. No obvious oak.

December 22, 2023 - From own cellar - tasting 3/4 of bottle opened by wife days before so there may have been more oomph closer to opening. Reductive/flinty nose all too familiar now. One of the geekiest story around this wine. Sits above Meursault 1er Cru Perrieres and while it does guarantee the same quality as the former the terroir is straddling elite village and 1er. You would not know from the label that reports a simple Bourgogne albeit with the lieux-dit Chaumes des Perrieres. Lots of lemon curd and good acidity. The palate is expansive with a hint of textural creaminess/buttery aspect. IMO this holds its own with the entry levels of PYCM, Pillot, Pernot etc..On the 20 white vintage. There is richness in all the ones I have tasted, no '14 for sure. Richer than '17 even may be.
