January 9, 2024 - Gave it a 2 hour decant. That really helped even out the tannins, but then the wine was fairly one-note. Somewhere between strawberry and cherry. Not complex. Shared it with friends and they thought it was pretty good. Definitely good QPR.

October 30, 2023 - Ne déçoit pas. 2eme fois je le bois. Tiens la route avec les cigares. Excellent nez. On est entre les classiques de Napa et Une touche Bordeaux.

August 19, 2023 - I don't understand some of the other reviews for this good (not great) wine.
Tastes like a very respectable $12 cab/merlot from California. Complex oak-influenced nose with delicious blue and black fruit. Weak but existent midpalate transitions to a long tasty finish that matches the other flavors. Medium plus acidity, medium (medium plus?) tannins (from boyh oak and grape skins) that are better than most other cabs in this $ range. A really tasty wine!
It's damn good when u break it down. But, it lacks concentration (as do most $<13 California cabs) which can't be ignored by wine snobs like me. If concentrated, it'd be a 92 or more.1 person found this helpful Comment -

May 24, 2023 - A decent cab, very inoffensive but doesn’t do anything I love. Just kind of a boring semi-dark red not too heavy on the tannin and an above medium acidity.
