July 19, 2023 - The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are slow. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like black currant (cassis), barnyard, alcohol/hot, bell pepper and plum. It tastes like black currant (cassis), prune, plum, light toast, bell pepper and alcohol/hot. The body is medium/full. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes medium.

December 31, 2022 - Bright ruby color. Expressive, fruity nose with cranberry, sour cherry, dried herbs, peach tea, and cedar-earthy tones. Bright, fresh and very young on the palate. This could have used more time in the barrel but is really lovely for its energy, red fruit and mineral youth. Love the fruit at mid and energetic/mineral finish. Hopefully time will bring complexity to this wine.
