  December 9, 2022 - Tasted at the family cascina at the top of the Montestefano vineyard with Teobaldo and Maria, neither of whom speak English. For us this was fun but difficult as my Italian is poor. They were sold out of most of their wines and were waiting for the release of the 2019 Barbaresco so we only were able to try 3 wines. All were on point and delicious. This was bright light to medium ruby color. with a very floral nose. well structured for a Langhe Nebbiolo. Very fresh balanced and typical with cherry fruit and hints of rose petals. Long finish. Definitely more age-worthy than the average Langhe Nebbiolo.

  November 29, 2022 - Piemonte: Back to the truffling!; 11/24/2022-12/3/2022 (Wineries and various restaurants): Not yet released. This is very light and fresh and bright in style. There’s an elegance to the winemaking that I really like. Still gaining some weight in the bottle if I had to guess. It needs a bit more time. There’s a wonderful floral and bright fruit style. Very nice structure. Very pretty.
