January 27, 2024 - The most complex of seven Chardonnays tasted blind, among which was a 2018 corton-charlemagne and a 2013 Fevre Vaudésir. The only one of the seven that I liked more than this was a 2015 1er cru from Saint-Aubin by Paul Pillot.

January 20, 2024 - En 2019 (comme en 21), les différents terroirs du domaine sont réunis en une seule cuvée (gel, grêle, mildiou…): climats ; rien d’étonnant sur cette année chaude à le voir concentré, arborant un impressionnant 14° sur l’étiquette. Ceci dit, j’ai été surpris par sa finesse et son harmonie; l’élevage très long (36 mois) typique du domaine donne un vin posé, au nez pur et gourmand patissier, floral, salin), et à la bouche pleine et racée. Pas de mollesse, de la longueur, et une belle typicité sud bourgogne au final!

Peach, stone fruit, slight citrus, touch of butter, sweet spice. Tangy, juicy, textured burr, acid a little sharp, meaty underpin, touch of alcohol warmth on the finish.
I guessed Burgundy, Meursault and 2020 - alcohol should have told me further south" -

December 24, 2022 - Un vin d’une excellente qualité. Il est bien équilibré et complexe. Les saveurs se dévoilent progressivement dans le verre. C’est plus expressif en bouche que sur le nez. J’aurais tendance à penser qu’il pourrait vieillir un peu mais l’acidité n’est pas particulièrement marquante.
