May 13, 2024 - I think this is not ready yet. Blind might have mistaken it for Rhone. Expected New World fruit was either not present or overwhelmed by the whole cluster tannins. Dense, potentially complex wine, but the tannins were rough and green tasting. I was wondering if they'll ever integrate, but must admit the last glass was the best.

May 4, 2024 - Pop and even before the first pour, that amazing super-Syrah aromas of dark blue fruit, black plum reduction, bacon, & olive are apparent through the neck of the bottle! But on the palate it was somewhat more savory, ferrous and structured than I was expecting. Better with a few hours in the decanter. Hold 3-6 years for upside potential.

March 14, 2024 - Lovely Syrah. Incredible palette persistence, well balanced acidity. Driven by black pepper and light green olive. Forest floor. Refined in the extreme. High value.

February 5, 2024 - Black pepper, dark cherry, asphalt, tart apples and leather on the nose. Medium acidic, cocoa chips, currant and white pepper on the palate. Finish is medium with nice tannins at the end.

October 27, 2023 - Decanted an hour.
Damp loamy, mossy forrest floor. Blue fruit. Menthol. Hint of cigar box and licorice. Lovely. Maybe just me tonight, but this feels just a touch unusually and uncharacteristically warm. I'm quibbling. Better with a decant. Need to lose the rest and wait 5. Darn good.1 person found this helpful Comment
