  August 12, 2018 - Definitely past its prime but still very pleasant: red fruit still showing with tannin fully mellowed. Improved as it opened up for an hour or more, then plateaued. Cab flavor still there with lots of subtle undertones.

  September 15, 2014 - We've recently been trying some of these older vintages from our cellar. This wine held up better than our 1995 Beringer Private Reserve, and a 1994 Ridge Monte Bello. It tasted like it still has some years left. Good, cause we still have some. Perfect balance, no oxidation, and a pleasure to drink.

  February 20, 2013 - Very nice fruit that has matured well. Needs to be filtered - a lot of sediment. Aroma opened up after bottle had been decanted for a short period. Still has a few good years left!
