December 27, 2017 - 2004 was a great year in the Coonawarra. This wine is still youthfull and satisfying. No hurry.

June 19, 2016 - Young and mid weight mouthfeel. Light camphor wood and cleansing acic finish want you to have another glass. In a great place now and will keep 5+ years. 1982 still good last year and have similar hopes for the wines between 1996 and 2004.

June 9, 2016 - lovely wine, especially as I am not a huge Coonawarra fan. Light Eucalypt, with strong dark fruit still apparent, good now and for up to 5 years

February 23, 2016 - The best bottle yet. Smells of new leather, spices, plum, tobacco and the perfect palate. Wonderful wine.

December 12, 2015 - Absolutely stunning, the way aged red wine should be. A nose of star anise, cloves, nutmeg, blackcurrant and the most tempting warm chocolate spiced pudding you can think of. The palate still has lovely weight with berry fruit still shining through, nice spice, neat oak and softening tannis. Still has a good 6-8 years left in it.
