May 17, 2023 - Popped and poured. The cork was in good shape, came off very easily. A bit of airing in the glass (15-30 min). Good nose showing ripe gooseberries, a bit of red currant and lemony fruit. Medium bodied, dry, crisp and refreshing, delivering gooseberries, grapefruit, a bit of currant, and a tiny creamy aspect. The palate is nicely carried by firm mouthwatering acidity. Felt overall fresh and vibrant with surprisingly discreet oaky notes despite the barrel aging. Utterly delicious stuff with great value.

December 16, 2022 - Pale gold to medium straw colour. Very clear, unoxidised look. Nose has light green gooseberry, herb character and light lemon and grapefruit peel. Nose replicated in the taste, adding gravelly minerality, light nuttiness rounded by a very light creamy touch. Light body, high acid, slightly oily mouthfeel, long finish. Excellent and probably still developing.
