March 2, 2024 - Dunkles Rubinrot. Ledrige Noten, dunkle Frucht, reife Kirschen, Sahne, warme Frucht.

    August 3, 2023 - Sheer power.
This had the power and tight tannins as it is still very young.
Firework of flavors, explosion in the palate.
Dark red, very little fading at the rim.
Bouquet garnet, figs, dark cherry, some vanilla, boysenberry.
Incredible. Tight. Acidic. Talk about a robust wine!

August 2, 2023 - ripe and opulent nose, black fruits, rather roasted and jammy, some cigar and autumn leaves, dried flowers too... full and rich on the palate, though not super concentrated for Ribera del Duero, great mineral line to offset the ripeness, this has sneaky freshness and elegance, long finish is earthy and mineral, fresh and roasted blue and black fruit nuances linger nicely, this will be mature in 3 to 5 years. Quite different from Unico, which is much more structured

July 17, 2023 - Vega Sicilia dinner with Pablo Alvarez (Monterey Restaurant, New York): More acidic than the 2017 paired alongside. More fruit forward. Red fruit notes but lacks depth and saturation. Shorter finish. Vega Sicilia dinner with Pablo Alvarez
