December 7, 2012 - AP #23-99. Brilliant orange in color. A shy nose belies the fact that the palate is wide open. Fat and oily without being cloying, but a touch more acidity would bring this wine to even higher levels. Peaches, pears and mirabelles dominate the flavor profile. Long finish where the acidity washes away the sweetness in a pleasant way leaving a glow of fruit. Many years of life ahead of it for this one. 50+11+13+9+9 = 92(+?)
