May 10, 2024 - Reductive on first whiff, matchstick, yeast, salt on the nose. Fantastic minerality and depth for a wine that clocks in at 9% alcohol. Tropical fruit, peach, lemon juice, starfruit, and a pleasing slinky texture that slides down the throat. Paris beautifully with spicy dan dan noodles.
Unfortunately loses a bit of its backbone after two days open in the fridge, but the aromatics are still there and pleasant.
