May 10, 2024 - Light in color (close to pinot color), but good minerality and a bit more earthy and spicy than many barolos. A fine with with sharp cheeses and tartines. not overly tanniny and the finish was clean

December 21, 2023 - The Kermit Lynch description is dead on. About the best weeknight barbaresco deal around. Has all textbook elements, benefits greatly from a long 1-2 hour decant. Will be my go to value barbaresco

July 30, 2023 - 2019 Barbaresco Tasting: Group #1, but my #7. Sharper nose with a whiff of paint thinner. Flavor of sweet soft fruit and a hint of vanilla, but with hard tannins underneath. Finish was somewhat short and less interesting than others.

May 15, 2023 - Nice translucent reddish-orange color, high pitched aromas of red berries, rose and sandalwood, the palate has a soft entry with a stern tannin build-up to the red cherry, pepper, black tea and tobacco infused finish, fresh and elegant, dry, nice with spaghetti and meat sauce, food-friendly, ready to go but no rush
