  May 23, 2024 - Drank over a few nights - up front pretty strong nose. Some nice meaty Syrah notes overlying cherry, granite and vanilla. As others note a bit lacking on the palate, mostly red fruit and a bit of iron. Not much finish that I appreciated but approachable tannins. Better night 2 but not dramatically so

  May 12, 2024 - Bold, not a lot of acid, fruit well balanced, notes of leather, incredibly smooth. This is one of our favorite wines we’ve discovered so far.

  October 12, 2023 - Deep purple color
  Medium plus aromas of black cherry/ plum with secondaries of black olive and smoke
  Medium bodied with palate of dark fruit/ black cherry and decent minerality
  Medium plus acidity with medium alcohol and medium plus tongue tannins
  Medium finish led by the tannin
  Really nice nose here but palate a little lacking

  Aromatics medium +. Black cherry, smoke and dark olives
  Palate has a medium body. Acid medium +.Tannins medium +, medium grained on the tongue. Alcohol medium. Cherries and chalk
  Finish has a medium length. Balance towards the tannins
  Tasting in prep for a wine club tasting on Syrah. Still needs more time in the bottle to mature, but seems like a straight forward Crozes.
