June 23, 2023 - Tasted at winery. Pinot Noir 3 stars Grosses Gewächs, i.e. the best single vineyard of the vintage. Pink-purplish rim, medium ruby red color. Fresh basket of berries, redcurrant, cranberry, tea leaves, leather, plum. Long silky finish.

Holger explained that usually, he would do whole bunch fermentation for portion of the grapes. This 2021 vintage, he de-stemmed all the grapes due to cool year. He emphasized that freshness, elegance and density are the hallmark of the house.
