March 1, 2024 - Helles Rubinrot. Verhaltene Nase, eher scheu, rote Beeren, Blütentee, Walderdbeeren, Trockenkräuter, ein Gedicht. Im Gaumen seidenweich, wunderbar elegant, keinerlei Schwere, der Wein tanzt über die Zunge, wirkt ungemein delikat, das ist ein Pinot-Elexier. Langanhaltend, rotfruchtig, feinwürzig im Abgang. 2024-2040+

November 16, 2023 - Merchant walkabout tasting of the 2021 burgundy vintage in bottle. I really liked this vintage, the wines were showing well. It is lighter and crisper than the 2020, more open at this stage and easier to drink, but there is no under-ripeness. Comparing it to recent vintages, I see it as a slightly cooler version of 2017. TN: Dense and compact with polished tannins. A bit formulaeic at this stage, not much aroma (yet). Rather good than great.

April 20, 2023 - Tasted at the Domaine. Complex nose - floral and red and purple fruits. Also showing some spices, touch of tobacco on nose. similar on palate with underripe raspberry and cassis showing through. A complex mélange of spices and some woodsy notes. Touch of tobacco and pepper. A bit lighter in style: Graceful and elegant. Quite delicate. Should age very well.
Anticipated score when fully mature 95-97pts. -

February 4, 2023 - Vintage Club 2021 EP tasting (Singapore): quite restraint on the nose, a little strawberry but lots of fruits on the nose with lots of freshness.
