April 25, 2024 - Beautiful and lovely smelling nose. And so juicy and fresh on the palate.

January 27, 2024 - Juicy fresh tons of complexity and spice.

January 1, 2024 - This is my second bottle since I picked them up this past summer: both have been out of whack on day one. If you're thinking of popping and pouring anytime soon, your palate probably needs to find enjoyment with high alcohol, prickly and more black-fruited than red- qualities. Nothing wrong with that, if that's your jam. I'm just saying more classically oriented palates will likely find this undrinkable - on day one, at least. A night in the fridge did this a lot of good, but still, if I had any remaining, I'd not open a bottle for 3-4 years. There's a bit of overload happening here, and I'm not finding the balance necessary to pull it off. 14,5% abv. (seems like much more), fwiw. HOLD.

September 6, 2023 - Bottle 1321g. Aromas of moderate to elevated intensity, more sweet vanilla than I like, other sweet spice, black cherry, loam, some alcoholic burn, slightly lifted. Dry, with elevated edgy acidity, medium-bodied but hot at 14.5% abv. Too much oak, too much alcohol, out of whack.
