April 17, 2024 - Nearly 100% Marsanne with just a touch of Roussanne. Straw yellow. Nose of herbs, maybe apricot. Mineral entry with dried herbs and maybe a hint of platanos. You can taste the limestone from the soil. Good acidity, medium length. Aged mostly in older (neutral) barrels. Unlike Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc, this is a wine that is less obvious and requires some time to get used to. A thinking person's white.
