April 28, 2024 - No detailed notes taken. Expressive, ripe, dark-fruited fruit on the nose and palate. Some brighter red berries and floral notes as well as spices on the palate. Good freshness but not the most elegant structure. The Aux Boudots is one of the less seductive, less charming and silky cuvees from Maxime. Still a good wine, but with the quality at this winery in so many other cuvees, not one to chase.

March 2, 2024 - La Paulée de Los Angeles Grand Tasting (The Fairmont - Santa Monica CA): Walkaround tasting. From Boudots and Cras. Black and red fruits, big and bright, slightly firm, slightly tart, slightly flashy, certainly complex and interesting.

January 19, 2024 - Tasting the 2022s from George Nöellat. Fruit of sour cherry with nice concentration, minimal meaty notes and fine herbs. Juicy, not overly sweet palate and grainy tannin. The 2022 from barrel appeared more promising.
