October 1, 2023 - Gorgeous, fresh and crunchy, with lots of berry and autumnal vibes. Perfect for the cooler evening.

January 5, 2020 - Medium dark red color. PNP, drank several glasses over 4 hours. I'm trying to wrap my head around this constantly changing beauty. I'm totally taken by the alluring perfume that wafts forth from the glass. This is at once a wine of provocatively pure red fruits and yet deeply earthy and savory goodness. The fruits glide from wild strawberries to fresh hillside raspberries and on to tart red cherries. Then there's those savory elements, mushroom, forest floor, compelling and complex spices. And then there's the potpourri of roses and dried herbs. The palate mirrors the complexity and elegance of the nose. Lifted would be an understatement. The fruit is simply dazzling and it just tingles on the tongue with such clarity. All of these elements dance playfully in and out and amongst one another. I just keep going back to the glass and finding my words not doing this justice. My oh my, this is just singing. Dang, there's even some blueberry in here.

October 25, 2019 - Super translucent garnet color. Red berries and cedar on the nose. Incredibly bright tartness on the palate, good forest floor and raw mushrooms. Fine tannin on the finish which balance out the tartness. My last of these and I think it’s probably time

September 21, 2019 - 2 hour decant. Lighter in color but typical for the ‘11s from Oregon. Nose of fresh dill and hints of cherry. Nice slightly tart mouthfeel, finishes with fine tannins.

July 26, 2018 - good nose and structure, but a little more closed this time. It was not the right wine for a summer night (my fault) - too hot, should be good with a little more time in the bottle on a cooler night
