  March 30, 2024 - An awesome bottle. Have been anxious to try this one for a couple of months. Will benefit from additional time, but it’s a pleasurable monster right now. Nose was subdued but floated a dusty fruit. Mouth was balanced with nice blue-black fruit, some acid and finishing with fairly aggressive tannins. 3 hour decant, and drank mostly by itself. This will be an exceptional wine in a few years.

  March 8, 2024 - I can’t wait to see where this goes. 3+ hour decant and this was starting to open up and continues to over the following couple of hours. An absolute treat, as good as a zin can get methinks.

  January 27, 2024 - ZAP TRADE TASTING JANUARY 27, 2024 (THE PAVILION AT ONE MARKET, SAN FRANCISCO, CA.): Big and rich on the nose, same on the palate, needs 9 years to peak, a great blend as usual, big body, long finish, worth the $50 easily.
