May 17, 2024 - Fruit forward without overpowering a bit of wet stone and herbs. Deep ripe cherry with a hint of rosemary. Great Value.

    April 20, 2024 - FYI, Per WS: Score 94
“This expressive red is dynamic, yet retains a sense of elegance and refinement, showing pomegranate and blueberry flavors underscored by river stone and dusky spice accents. Builds tension toward lively tannins. Drink now through 2032. 4,888 cases made.

I have not tried this yet. Bought 2 bottles based on above WS review. For $29 I’d be happy with a 92. We shall see.

    April 15, 2024 - I’m disappointed I didn’t like this wine since it’s so highly rated.

March 23, 2024 - 4th Saturday Brown Bagger (J&L's): Double blind. Bright purplish red color with a lovely bouquet of cherry cola, nutmeg, cranberry, orange and cinnamon. Medium-bodied. Flavors of sour cherry, cola and earthy clay. Finishes with good length and has nice balancing acidity. Easy to pick out as pinot, but the cola and generous fruit had me thinking Russian River. Excellent. (V&M)

March 14, 2024 - Surprising richness and concentration. Quite dominated by red fruit, but I suspect this will age well.
