August 28, 2023 - Black and blue fruit on the nose with a hint of oak and leather. Palate leads with blue and black fruit - blackberry in particular - before some red fruits start to come in on the finish - really nice clean fruit, nothing over-extracted here. Soft but not quite silky tannins, with enough acidity to keep things balanced. Not something I'd open for Saturday grilled steak, but it was really nice with roast beef on a Monday. Probably my favorite bottle from the cellar club shipment it arrived with.
