March 28, 2024 - It is a very interesting orange wine. Most orange wines have a certain typicity to them, almost regardless of the varietal used. They tend to share the somewhat austere mouthfeel of kombucha tea, the acids and tannins doing a nice point and counterpoint together. Aromatically as well, you can almost always smell an orange wine blindfolded.

Well this little orange gem, and it is a gem of an orange color to be sure, lands a little differently. There is definitely more of a roundness to the juice, the touch of unexpected sweetness noted by other tasters that softens the acidity. It is almost like it is attempting to be an easily approachable orange wine.

I do not mind the differences at all, the wine stands out all the more for the differences. It is still a detailed and moderately complex wine that just feels a couple of degrees off from most orange wines.

December 22, 2023 - Folks complain about orange wines, but if some are as delicious as this one, then please sign me up. Cheers!

December 4, 2023 - A fine companion to an array of homemade Indian food. My friends who enjoy wine but are not really into wine found the pairing very compelling. The touch of sweetness balanced the heat and spices and while I'd found it wanting for a bit of acid on its own, with the complex pairing it wasn't particularly noticeable.

November 12, 2023 - The sweetness noticed around the sides and finish didn’t bother me as much as others it seems, as I loved the rounded edges and fruit melange with just enough acidity. Very interesting, enough complexity to lift it up and I can’t wait to try another bottle next year!

November 9, 2023 - Apricot, honey and spices. Good acidity, but given the sweetness, could use more. This really needs spicy foods or blue cheeses.
