  April 27, 2024 - Damn, it's been a minute since I've had a Soave. Not a lot of interesting ones making it to my market but this is the benchmark for entry level Soaves, so let's go!
  
  Colour is palest yellow. Nose is a bit shy, doesn't draw you in right away, takes a bit of work. Reveals bruised apple/yellow pear, lime zest, and something nutty, maybe almond. Honeydew not prominent but it lays beneath, and juicy watermelon too.
  
  Palate is laser-like, all sharp acidity, with decent flavour concentration. The lemon really takes over on the palate, and finishes with cat pee and some minerality (kind of flinty river rock thing?) adding a savoury edge. Length is medium.
  
  Overall good for the price, complexity is pretty good and the structure is good enough. Went pretty well with both sushi and scallops. Looking forward to tasting one of their single vineyard offerings.
