September 16, 2023 - Medium-light garnet in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, strawberries & raspberries with overtones of spice & floral notes, earthy, minerals & a slight hint of oak/vanilla in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, strawberries & raspberries with spices, minerals, a bit of cola & a hint of oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with extended airing but should continue to develop slightly further with additional aging at which time it may merit a higher score (93+).

July 7, 2023 - Deep, dark, and toasty vanilla. Candied plum, blackberry, black cherry, warm spice notes. Wow, the palate is giving up way more than the nose, bursting at the seems with raspberry ganache, and warm spices, the tannins in this wine are big, and absolutely seemless, the texture is silky, and the finish is forever. This wine is going to age beautifully, cannot wait for 5 years down the road to open another bottle of this. Lives up to the hype.
