October 10, 2019 - Dense pig- youthful appearance - cellared since release - finished a 6 pack of reg Ribera from this maker not too long ago and it represented a fine value - not surprisingly this premium cuvee follows suit in spades. Rich deep red and black cherry fruit on nose and palate w earthy minerally base. Though ripe and extracted there still remains sufficient acidity to keep wine in keen focus while big bold body keeps wine long on palate. Bravo!

January 14, 2012 - Still holding on. Consistent with previous notes. Great wine.

August 21, 2011 - No notes taken but this showed consistent with my last note and is still really impressive. Probably drinking at peak, but should hold for quite awhile.

October 11, 2010 - No notes taken. Beautiful, complex nose reminiscent of good left bank Bordeaux. Nice texture and balance on the palate. Makes me sorry I sold off a case last summer.

February 15, 2010 - Medium red and a little bricking. Leather, violets, wood, and On the palate the wine shows intense spices, cherry, wood, vanilla, and violets. Soft tannins and balanced. This is drinking well right now and I don't see a reason to age too much longer.
