September 2, 2003 - Really impossible to rate. Odd collection of aromas on the nose - paint thinner, beer, roses. At times, it really was intense attar of roses (non-sweet) on the palate. Other moments were a nice balance of tannins and fruit with rose accents. Other times, organics like varnish dominated. Worked well w/ food at some moments.
Paired: Pasta w/ tomato-sausage sauce
Ultimately a curiosity, but not worth buying again.
