January 27, 2024 - 15 years in the box, my final btl of this. Really remarkably lovely spot-on aged N Rhone. Dark fruits, mushrooms, smoked brisket, and gobs of iron. Some dried flowers on the finish. Really polished. This has aged very well and held up much better than I would have expected given its humble breeding and the vintage. Did I really buy this for $19?!

December 25, 2023 - Open in the bottle for about an hour or two. Nose is seductive with old library books, cherries, dried blueberries, a bit of clayey earth. Palate is alive, juicy and fresh despite being 20 years old. More juicy red cherries and blackberries, hint of leather, baking spices. Not life-changing but really quite delicious and in a good spot.

October 2, 2023 - The 4th time I have had this wine and my last bottle. We drank this next to a 2006 Delas Hermitage which I liked better. Decanted 2 hours before drinking. Crimson color. Moderately sedimented. The cork came out easily. Notes of Cherries and bacon fat. Loose tannins. 90 points

December 6, 2021 - Seriously?! Gorgeous nose of dark plums, mushrooms, soy sauce, and just a little bit of brett. Very soft and silky in the mouth. Very classic and typical for an aged northern Rhone. That I paid $19 for this at K&L back in the day is ridiculous. I do not know the Domaine, but this is stupid good and keeps getting better. On a cold gray night, this is lovely.

April 2, 2021 - Just found three bottles (oops!) Remarkably fresh fruit over subtle tannins. A beautifully balanced Cote-Rotie. No doubt not the brute it once was, but a joy. Like a well made pinot noir. Drink up!
