November 18, 2016 - Acker Pre-Auction Tasting Wines & In-Auction Dinner Wines (Zuma - New York NY): Tasting, brief note. Fun and nicely balanced with black and red fruit, fully mature.

September 4, 2016 - Young looking ruby color, no bricking. Intense black tea and fennel on the nose, a bit of mint complementing the currant fruit. Currant and black cherry feature on the nose. There's still some firm tannins on the finish. This was a bottle that has aged nicely. Drink in the near term.

December 20, 2015 - Cheval Blanc Vertical Tasting (Old Swiss House, Lucerne, Switzerland): Out of Impériale bottle: Clear red with some brick color at the edges. Shows green notes with hints of Caramel. The wine is quite short and unbalanced. The alcohol is present and it lacks depth and complexity. Drink now.

January 15, 2013 - Cherry menthol, eucalyptus, tobacco, green tea and green peppers; spicey, complex with some gamey notes. Super wine.

December 15, 2012 - Drank with a meal of grey sole with a cauliflower and lentil garnish. Decanted for an hour. A delicious and light bordeaux which left a pleasant taste on the palate with a nice finish. A mix of soil and berries.
