January 8, 2017 - Lots of sediment, initially murky colour, needed careful decant.
Bright, spicy, crushed herbs, red cherry, damson, sour cherry stone.
Intensely flavoured, sour cherry and damson, raspberry, whole bunch spice is well integrated, some earth but not highly developed flavours. Smooth up front but has firm acidity, a little sharp. Very well preserved old Pinot. -

January 13, 2015 - This bottle shows better, still rustic in nature, not an elegant wine. (C)

January 3, 2013 - Stalky, warm and smooth. Aged chars, meaty and black fruits.
Great depth, rich and long and smooth, whole bunch spice is strong but fruits are also strong.

March 24, 2012 - Good nose but too high on acidity. Not as good as when I last tasted it 2 years ago, fruits are fading away with emergence of acidity. Time to drink up soon.
