May 8, 2023 - Roses and red fruits combine in the perfume, while soft, silky, red, and black, creamy fruits combine on the palate and in the elegant, sweet, cherry-packed finish. Give this a year to soften, and it will be perfect for near term drinking while waiting for the Grand Vin to develop. The wine blends 55% Merlot, 44% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Petit Verdot. Drink from 2025-2035. 89-91 Pts.

April 24, 2023 - Clean and open style, hints of coffee and kirsch. The finish is a bit heavy on the bitters.

Perhaps lacking a bit of concentration.

April 24, 2023 - En Primeur campaign for the 2022 vintage Day Three (Bordeaux): Fresh plums and blackcurrant, floral top notes, quite jammy fruit though, cedar and sweet spices in support. Medium plus intensity acidity, that jammy black fruit has a little savoury underpin, sweet spice, drying, slightly woody tannins travel with the fruit, alcohol warmth is annoyingly intrusive on the finish. Other than that this is perfectly pleasant.
