  May 8, 2023 - Flowers, blackberries, spice, cigar box, black currants, cherries, and cedar open the perfume. On the palate, the wine is sweet, fresh, spicy, chewy, and almost creamy in the dark, red, pit fruit finish. The wine is long, with intensity, complexity, and aging ability. The wine is a blend of 79% Cabernet Sauvignon and 21% Merlot, 14.2% ABV, 3.57 pH. Picking took place September 7 - September 23. This is the earliest harvest in the history of the estate. Yields were 38 hectoliters per hectare. Only 60% of the harvest was placed into the Grand Vin. This wine has the potential to score even higher when it is in bottle. Drink from 2027 - 2060. 95-97 Pts.

  May 1, 2023 - 97 vvPunkte / Ein sehr schöner Duft, mit Würze, getrockneten Kräutern, viel Cassis und deutlichen Tabaknoten, mineralische Untertöne, top komplex. Im Gaumen konzentriert, jedoch nicht fett, sehr athletisch, messerscharfes Tannin, top Säure, die Frucht ist knackig, der Alkohol überbordet nicht der Wein zeigt einen grandiosen Spannungsbogen vom Auftakt bis ins Finish. Rotfruchtige Rückaromen, Würze. Einmal mehr ausgezeichnet um nicht zu sagen, das Beste, was ich hier bisher verkosten konnte.   April 27, 2023 - En Primeur campaign for the 2022 vintage Day Six (Bordeaux): Blackcurrant tends to Cassis, sweet spice, a little plum in support. Medium plus intensity acidity, juicy, black currant is more wild here, creamy underpin with plentiful tannic slightly woody grip, balanced, simple but rather lovely.
