July 12, 2023 - Langton's Bordeaux En Primeur 2022 tasting (Langham Hotel, Kent Street, Sydney): Sweet plums and baking spice, touch of cream, very slight caramel and vanilla as well. Quite concentrated on the palate which lends a savoury quality to the plummy fruit, tannins are woody and coarse. Alcohol warmth managed well but it's a bit meh for me.

May 8, 2023 - Flowers, black cherries, licorice, smoke, spice, espresso, cinnamon, and plums open the attention-seeking perfume. On the palate, the wine is sensuous, silky, long, and polished. The array of perfectly ripe, black, red, and blue fruits, with their chocolate edge lingers as the berries caress your palate from start to finish. Drink from 2025-2042. 95-97 Pts.

Da schlummert was ziemlich grosses im Fass. 2032-2060+ (Verkostet "En Primeur" im April 2023 in den Büros von J.P. Moueix in Libourne) #primeurs22 www.vvWine.ch
