September 22, 2023 - Very similar to the recent bottle. Acid perhaps a little more evident, but very minor. A wonderful Rosso Di Montalcino. Now - 5 years

August 9, 2023 - Deep, vibrant red. Violent decant.
Attractive rich red cherry aromas. Ripe, spicy.
Ditto palate. 15% alc warmth shows but not unbalanced.
A lovely ripe, balanced, expressive young Montalcino. Already lovely drinking but good for at least 5 years, though no need to hold it. Both acid and tannin are present and time will see these recede. Just a wonderful, vibrant Rosso. -

May 23, 2023 - Montalcino trip, sixth vineyard visited. Dark purple/brown color, soft nose. Subtle to strong first Brunello taste fresh red fruits with cherries and currants into and noticeable earthy finish short linger. High quality Rosso.
