Community Tasting Notes 5

February 5, 2012 - This dessert wine is fantastic! Drank another bottle in my cellar with another group of friends-- all of them loved it. Dark purple in color, this wine is 16% alc-- has long smooth velvety finish. Not your typical dessert wine. Fantastic nontheless.

August 31, 2011 - Weeknight Wine Tasting (Bistro 7, Philadelphia PA): nice s. france dessert wine. pomegranate, plum, and some light smoke. long, port-like finish does not show the same heat.

August 31, 2011 - Survery Of New World Wines (Bistro 7 (7 N. 3rd St., Philadelphia)): Very enjoyable sweet red. Not overly done. Mild sweetness, not overtly alcoholic. Blue fruit and spice with a hint of pepper. This is a red dessert wine that you could open up during the week and not worry about it being too high in alcohol. On the lighter side of red dessert wines.

September 5, 2009 - Outstanding dessert wine! Only 16% alcohol-- doesn't have typical honey/port taste or finish. Group loved this wine-- glad I got more in the cellar!!
