April 28, 2024 - I second agelvis's note. This is ready to business with a quick decant, and is drinking very well now. I've always loved Carter's Fortuna bottling so this is no surprise. Paired well with tri-tip steak.

February 1, 2024 - One hour decant. Deep dark purplish magenta color. Chocolate toffee brittle, cassis, black cherry, and graphite. Dry, plush palate, with wonderful glide. Firm tannins on the longish finish.
100% CS that is mostly Fortuna fruit, with a little To Kalon. Mark Carter was doing the pouring for #1WineLover and I. Very cool.4 people found this helpful Comments (10) -
