October 25, 2020 - Clearly an older wine - no fruit left - but no worse for that. Still quite grippy, low acidity, hint of sweetness? Plenty of body. Fantastic sipping wine at an evening.

June 15, 2012 - Ruby red, tought of brown with no core. Smell is generous, fruity with herbs, some spices and lots of cherry and oak. On the palate it is heady , still tannic with lots of minerals, cherry, liqourice and oak. I like tannic in this wine, but there's not enough fruit to balance the minerals. Still it went wounderful with BBQ.

July 10, 2011 - Much better than I can remember. Complex, peppery with massive fruit and an slightly earthy finish. Will get even better in a few years.
