December 29, 2023 - Dark, full-bodied and ripe wine that certainly validates the common lineage of primitivo and zinfandel. Hendry also makes a zin that is lighter than this. This one is more like a classic “big” zin, dark fruit nose, sweet attack on the tongue, and soft tannins on the finish. The 16.1 ABV is well-disguised.
