December 13, 2017 - Very floral on the nose with stems, flowers, potburri, and spice. It took roughly two hours to release more depth and power. Palate is still a bit lean because of the vintage. Still a very enjoyable leroy nsg that drinks and smells like a vr. Well made nsg but unlikely to improve from here, but it should stay at this level easily for another 5 to 7 years.

August 7, 2012 - Light brownish red in color, nose turned really deep and open after an hour. Full of red flowers, potpourri, spices, tangerine peel and plums. Medium plus palate that is floral, ripe and dense. Drinking beautifully and will hold. Nose at least a 94 pointer, palate 92. More like a very well made VR.
