  March 7, 2010 - Smelled and tasted pretty oaky and rich, with buttery and long finish. Finish was too strong and one dimensional. Second night it opened up a bit more with marzipan and butterscotch notes. I think it might be a winner with the right food combo, but on it's own I found it a bit unbalanced, slightly cloying even. 60 mins later -- slightly better still, maybe this stuff was just a bit too 'big' for my taste in the beginning?

  August 14, 2009 - We gave the 2005 vintage a 90, but this is not nearly as good. There are some hints of banana, like in the 2005, but the taste is dominated by something like a "Red-Hot." We wouldn't get this again.

  June 29, 2009 - Undetectable nose. Body was okay but the palete and finish had this weird sour celery bitter taste. It bothered me but I finished the glass anyways. Went a little better when my oyster appetizer arrived.
