April 15, 2024 - So far this was our favourite from a six pack of RR81 wines. 20% whole cluster. Aged a year in neutral French oak. A different take on Syrah. Juicy, gamey nose bursting with red berries and red cherry. Medium bodied, robust acidity and lovely alcohol integration. Palate adds a tart cranberry. Quite pleasant overall. Would happily drink again on a warm evening.
