March 20, 2018 - How long can you wait to drink a Juvenile? Evidently pretty long. A bit brickish but still deep red with big plum-violet notes on the nose and then plum and, of course raisin character, 12 years in. Still yummy.

December 27, 2017 - This was the last of my 2006 Turleys. Amazingly, this bottle showed no significant signs of decline. Visually, the color was still a deep, dark color with consistency. There was a noticeable lack of big creeping legs as seen in younger Turley Zins. Big nose with less alcohol heat to it. Still popping with big plummy fruit, hints of anise and dark chocolate. Very intense. Hard to say how far past its peak, but this was an excellent wine that easily has two more years
